ABOUT US

HISTORY

Founded in 1979 and operating under the name LES ÉQUIPEMENTS M.G.B., the Company initially specialized in the purchase and resale of used electrical power equipment. By maximizing its technical knowledge, it was able to improve the quality of its product and offer its customers refurbished equipment that stood out from the competition.

In 2000, the company changed its name to MGB Electric, opened a sheet metal workshop, and obtained its first CSA certifications. ISO9001 accreditation followed in 2007.

In 2010, the company acquired MGB Electrofab, merging the key staff of that company into the MGB Electric family.

Since then, MGB Electric has continued to grow, reaching annual sales of $15M in Quebec, spread over approximately 200 projects.
